At times, you just gotta have grease. And today was no exception for me and Jesse. We needed something quick and easy to eat with the salad we bought from Whole Foods last night, so I went with my super-simple fried chicken.
• Chicken drumsticks
• Vegetable or canola oil
Step 1: Heat oil in a deep yet wide pot (enough so that half of each piece of chicken will be submerged).
Step 2: Generously season the drumsticks with salt and pepper.
Step 3: Coat with flour.
Step 4: When the oil is hot, fry for 7 to 9 minutes. Flip to the other side for another 7 to 9 minutes.
Step 5: Serve with a side of rice and/or salad.
