Here’s what we ordered: New England Clam Chowder (pictured below, how could you not?!) and Brussel Sprouts and Squid (pictured above) to start. By the way, they did not skimp on the calamari like many restaurants do — it was about 65/35 with crunchy and grilled squid taking the lead over the brussel sprouts. For our mains, I got the Clam Ipswich Sandwich while Jesse ordered the Lobster Roll, plus a side of fries.
My pictures are a little dark (sorry!) — like the setting of Littleneck’s ambiance — but trust: everything looked beautiful and tasted rich and decadent. No, we can’t eat like this every day — every bite was pretty dense (but still worth every calorie).
By dinner’s end, we just had to go for it and get the only dessert on the menu: Doughnuts. The owner asked us what we thought and we expressed our awe for how mouth-wateringly delicious they were, especially with the foamy Cinnamon, Maple and Jameson Cream that came alongside.
We can’t wait to go there again!
