Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing on the First Snowy Day of the Season

What do you do when you wake up, it’s snowing and you don’t have much in the fridge? You make due.

We had a christening to go to around 2, so we needed a “light” lunch. Lucky for us, I had some already-defrosted chicken “wingettes” and (a kind of) old bottle (yet still usable) bottle of Asian Zing sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings that we scored during a Hot Sauce Festival a year ago.

Ingredients

• Chicken “wingettes” (that means, they’re wings but separated at the joints)

• Asian Zing sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings

• Cornstarch (enough to coat wings)

• Spray olive oil

• Salt and pepper

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400º.

Step 2: Salt and pepper the chicken. Then, dust with cornstarch.

Step 3: Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and place the chicken on baking rack on top.

Step 4: Spray the chicken while on the rack with a little olive oil.

Step 5: Cook in the oven for 30 minutes. Flip and raise oven temperature to 450º. Cook in the oven for another 15 minutes.

Step 6: Put chicken in a bowl and toss with Asian Zing sauce. Serve.

Best snow day snack ever!
